What this means for you, is that you will be expected to join Lynda.com ( cost less than a textbook), watch the videos, do the tutorials.
I Will be checking up on you! between now, 9/3 and 9/17 you will start by doing Indesign Essentials, an 8 hour series, that will give you an overview of how Indesign works. While you are doing this for homework, in class we will be working on design projects.

Any artwork that is used in an assignment, must be your own, or Copyright free. Even then it needs to be changed at least 3 times and be not the main focus of someone else’s ad campaign. You need to footnote where you got the image. I recommend digital cameras/ phone and starting to build your own library. You should understand this documents.

3. Do InDesign CS6 Essential Training with David Blatner 1-2 ( 1 Hour)
You will be expected to have watched all of Indesign CS6 Training by 9/17. There are 13 segments. I have set the pace here, but if you have more time and want to watch ahead, please do.
